The hotel doesn't quite match up to its online description. They don't allow smoking even 20 feet away. The room with a kitchen lacked utensils and pots and pans, and cleanliness was an issue.

I found the hotel to be conveniently located, close to the waterfront and just a short distance from downtown. The rooms were prepared for two people with two sets of bedding, and the staff was friendly and nice overall. My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was perfect for exploring San Diego, close to the water but away from downtown noise. The rooms, unfortunately, didn't match the pictures and had a cold draft, even though they had a kitchen with no utensils or pots and pans.
